Omicron Chapter -Chartered at the University of Delaware on November 26, 2001 by four strong women determined to bring an organization to this campus that promoted Latino culture and awareness as well as personal and professional advancement of its members.

Their legacy has been continued over the years by women who have followed in their footsteps to continue to be positive voices and role models by being leaders in the community, scholars in their classes, and activists for positive change not only for Latinos on this campus but also those in the surrounding and greater communities.
